The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County presents its annual Gala and Auction themed, Mosaic: Around the World on Saturday, November 19th at the Douglasville Conference Center starting at 6 pm. “The night of Gala is the night for the Arts Council to celebrate its accomplishments in the past year and to raise needed funds for the upcoming year,”. The activities will include an elegant meal catered by proof of the pudding featuring food from around the world, silent auction, dancing, live cultural performances. and more.

The mission of the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County (CAC) has always been to nurture, guide, and stimulate participation in the arts in the community. On November 29th, help the CAC give the gift of Arts Education to the youth of Douglasville and Douglas County. This Giving Tuesday the CAC is raising money to help fund Art Education Initiatives around Douglas County. These programs positively impact the lives of young people by teaching creativity, problem-solving, and cognitive ability. While at the same time providing a platform for self-expression and discovery. Donate to the CAC’s Giving Tuesday campaign, and help the CAC bridge the gap!

We will be accepting a limited number of vendors, including food vendors, through November 28th, as long as they are still available.
Vendors are encouraged to decorate their booths for Christmas.
We will have choral performances as well as possible other music.
Santa Claus will be on-site to meet with the kids.
We will still be taking new unwrapped toys and children’s clothes for the Christmas kids the PD takes on.

Congregation Ner Tamid of Marietta will have a Hanukkah Menorah Lighting in Marietta Square at Glover Park on Friday, December 23 at 6:30 pm. The Douglasville Police Department Spring Festival & Safety Expo will take place on April 1, 2023 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Douglasville Public Safety Complex located at 2083 Fairburn Road. Come out and meet your public safety officials while the kids enjoy egg hunts, touch-a-trucks, a K-9 demo, and a bounce house along with food, vendors, and fun. This event is free and open to the public.
Vendors are needed and Booth Registration is $40.

Join us on Easter Weekend to celebrate our Beloved Pets! The animals that we call friends are furry, scaley, wet, smooth, rough, and so much more! This month we have 5 artists showing us their vision of their beloved pets. From Elephants to dogs and cats, to lizards and snakes, there are animals for all!
